VA Polytrauma System of Care advocates family involvement throughout the rehabilitation process and provides clinical, social, and logistical support services to minimize stress during TBI and polytrauma recovery. Each patient and family is assigned a dedicated case manager who coordinates care and ensures access to necessary supports.
