Advanced Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent who will manage onsite activities for Multi-Family property improvement, renovation, and restoration projects throughout the southeast but will be based in or near Atlanta Georgia.

Responsibilities :
Manage and organize all aspects of onsite project activities
- Candidate must be self-motivated, driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Superintendents work on a construction team and report directly to a Director of Construction (DOC)
- Position offers base salary along with results-driven bonus structure
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously if needed
- Ensure proper workplace safety and safety of residents/tenants
- Be willing to travel throughout the southeast for duration of assigned projects (durations vary from a few weeks to several months depending on the project scope of work)
- Read and interpret drawings and scopes of work
- Be familiar with interior and exterior property improvements
- Schedule, control safety & quality, and closely supervise all work performed by subcontractors
- Work with property manager(s) to notify residents of work schedules when applicable
- Deliver projects within supplied budget and schedule
- Assist DOC with material procurement & delivery schedules
- Know and enforce project specifications
- Freedom to change detail or method if needed and change sub’s scope
- Ability to create change order request
- Enforce job site security & subcontractor daily housekeeping
- Work with office staff to order dumpsters, storage containers, portable toilets, rent apartments or find hotels as needed
- Inspect the quality of work and make corrections as needed
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders
- Call in inspections to local municipalities
- Meet with inspectors from local municipalities
- Prepare daily construction reports via mobile app
- Work independently and without supervision on the job site
- Send weekly updates and construction logs to inform the DOC on the progress of your jobs
- Be able to hire and fire subcontractors
- Meet with customers to close out jobs
- Meet with subs to perform punch walks and confirm the work was completed correctly
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years minimum in construction preferred
- Experience in Multi-Family construction, management, or property improvements preferred
- Experience as a site supervisor preferred
- Must be willing to travel
- Candidate preferably resides in metro-Atlanta area
