Turf and Trails is located in Foristell, Missouri on Veterans Memorial Parkway. They are a local, family-owned business. Turf and Trails is a full-service Exmark Dealer and an outdoor power equipment resource for commercial and residential customers. Their trained service technicians service and perform work on lawn mowers, hand-held units, and all other small engine repairs. With every new equipment purchase they offer setup, delivery, demonstration, & product registration. Turf and Trails Outdoor Equipment has the perfect opportunity for a small engine mechanic who enjoys being part of a close-knit team with a locally owned business. The right candidate enjoys a variety of responsibilities including interacting with customers, being knowledgeable about available products and services, and completing top-notch small engine repairs. The right candidate must be results oriented, working independently to take full responsibility for shop duties.

Job duties include:

  • Making repairs and/or servicing lawn equipment, powersport vehicles, and hand held equipment
  • Managing parts inventory, including searching for parts online to find the right options for quality, availability, and shipping
  • Placing and receiving orders for inventory and specific repairs
  • Maintaining shop appearance by keeping inventory organized and the shop neat and clean
  • Driving for pick-ups and deliveries using company truck and trailer
  • Interacting with customers to provide top-notch customer service
  • Working in the store every other Saturday for 4 hours (with comp time off during the week)

The requirements for this position are:

  • 3 years’ experience in small engine repairs and service
  • Valid, clean driver’s license and ability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Current knowledge of product inventory or ability and willingness to learn
  • Customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills to conduct searches and place orders
  • Organizational skills to manage inventory
