The Production team is responsible for assisting in the shop production process. This is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management, self motivations and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The production staff must be able to multi-task while working diligently and independently.
Job Description:
Producing jobs in the production department and monitor jobs through production to finish.
Learn to install simple lettering on vehicles, run required machines, learn materials and procedures… All while keeping the flow of the shop moving, organized and efficient.
Tasks:
Monitor time-frames and deadlines of jobs in production
Apply graphics to various substrates. Including but not limited to vehicles, sign boards, walls, windows and other substrates.
Set up plot production
Must learn Gerber Composer and Adobe Illustrator programs
Must learn to run all plotters, laminators and printers
Clean and maintain tools
Keep production department cleaned and organized
Make sure job orders are complete and returned to billing after finished
Job completion/follow thru. This may include packaging the order for shipment, dropping the order off and on occasion contacting the customer for pick-up
This position requires some travel for installation.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s lic.
Must be self-motivated
Be available to work late or a weekend if needed.
Sign shop experience is a plus
MUST know how to use a ruler and measure things straight
Be organized and clean
Have customer service skills.
