Mercer Technologies is currently hiring full-time service technicians to work primarily on vacuum heat treating equipment. Prior experience preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
- Overnight travel (transportation, lodging, and per diem provided)
- Drivers license and good driving record
- Random drug testing
- Mechanical ability, familiarity with tools
- Comfortable working with up to 480 volt power systems
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Independent, ambitious worker with a commitment to working safely
Preferred:
- Familiarity with vacuum furnace systems and/or vacuum pumps
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience running electrical conduit, copper, and PVC pipe
- MIG welding
- Current passport
- Personal tools
