Reconditioning Technician II

Job Overview
The EQS Recondition Technician II enhances and maintains customer satisfaction by properly preparing all cold drink equipment for installation and setting up all dispensing equipment. The EQS Recondition Technician II works with and assists all areas of equipment services to maintain a high level of customer service. The EQS Recondition Technician II helps the equipment services team achieve its goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment for installation following CCCI set up procedures, including inspection, set up of the electrical system, lower cabinet, upper cabinet, and inner door.
- Completes final inspection including ensuring proper decals are used, setting timers, prices, installing locks, lock covers, asset tags, make improvements to the equipment with touch-up paint, and any other procedures required.
- Ensures that the highest quality inspections are performed on all equipment and that the equipment is being prepared to customer specifications.
- Prepares equipment to customer specifications and customizations of graphics and flavor and package configurations including but not limited to conducting a thorough cleaning replace, repair any and all parts necessary as well as installing all ancillary items such as LED Kits, Doors, shelves, front grills, etc.
- Performs housekeeping to maintain safe, clean, and neat work areas while abiding by the standards set by the CCCI and safety compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and guidelines.
- Follows procedures for maintaining proper accountability of all parts and labor and capturing all data including equipment attribute changes in a mobile data device and updates CONA, SAP to ensure accurate inventory.
- Troubleshoot equipment and replace, repair any and all parts necessary. Install all ancillary items such as RDPs, WAN, LAN devices, security locks, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Basic technical (electrical and trouble shooting) knowledge and mechanical skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision Individual must be able to work in various positions such as squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping and standing on concrete floor.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to move objects of 100 lbs or more.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Desired Soft drink industry knowledge
- Desired equipment services experience
- Desired SAP and Hipot knowledge.
- Experience with tools used include a plasma cutter, hand, air tools, hand-held devices
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
- Painting with an air gun and requires a fit test. (Technician III)

Work Environment
Work environment will vary, including but not limited to exposure to
weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled
