Position summary:
Manage Purchasing and Inventory for high end Automation projects.
Job Type
• Full Time
• Experience of 3 years or more working as a Purchasing Agent
• Experience in the AV/Automation industry a plus
• Must have valid NY driver’s license.
• Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task
• Polite with experience working in a customer service environment
• Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframe
• Inventory management
• Work with sales/PM and technicians to ensure workflow
• Issuing purchase orders – expedite and redirect as needed, pricing negotiation
• Equipment Receiving – review invoices and approved for payment
• Track back orders, RMA’s, reach out to vendors when needed.
• Forecast inventory needs based on historical, current and future demands
• Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers
• Manage POs and Invoices in Quickbooks
• Equipment staging
• Issuing RFQs
• Coordinate and execute yearly warehouse inventory –
• 7:30am to 4:00pm
