- This Mechanic/LUBE Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. We have a fleet of 7kw-320kw diesel generators.
- Steady hours 7-4pm with an alternating on-call schedule.

When not performing routine services on generators on rental or back in our shop/yard you will deliver and pick up various generators/cables and supplies to customer worksites. Operates a vehicle that has a gross weight of less than 26,000 pounds in various driving conditions, including construction zones, urban, suburban and rural traffic AZ.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with customers
- Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- A current copy of your MVR last 39months
- 1-3 years as lube tech or servicing diesel engines
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
- Ability to operate delivery vehicle safely in variety of driving situations & conditions
- Towing trailers & equipment
- Knowledge of tools & equipment based on assigned store’s fleet
- Detail orientation to ensure timely, accurate paperwork
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50-100 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. This job is hands-on, has some heavy lifting of cable that will be delivered out with the towable generator, fueling of our generators that are out on long-term rentals (each truck has an 100gl red diesel tank in the back of it), hooking up to pintle hitches – generators most of the time have the donut hitch, setting up events during event season, running last minute add-ons to jobsites, & paperwork is minimal – we use a carbon copy hand ticket book that you write down the gallons pumped, customer you’re at, time & date and what you delivered or picked-up.
