A leading Providence based manufacturer and distributor of Military Insignia and related uniform accessories is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Customer Service Team Member.
Description:
The successful candidate is expected to provide outstanding customer service, exceeding customer expectations, maintain and enhance existing business relationships and obtain new business relationships. Strive to service the customer in one contact by taking personal responsibility for orders, ensuring the customer’s requirements are met from order to delivery. This is a customer facing competitive role in a dynamic environment that requires effective communications internally and externally and the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities, role to include:
- Managing large call volume
- Account management
- Friendly, well-spoken and the ability to close sales
- Sourcing new opportunities through follow up and history
- Generate interest through leads and referrals
- Strong presence; verbal, written and the ability to listen and understand
- Ability to work independently and within the customer service team
- Problem solving skills and the ability to research for answers and information
- Multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Engage customers, identify needs through product knowledge
- Prepare, manage, and follow up on quotations
- Receive detailed order information via email, phone, fax, EDI and sales management and process through computer system
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ sales and customer service experience
- Goal oriented personality
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Detailed, courteous and tactful communication skills
- ERP system experience
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Analytical with root cause analysis skills
