This is a position we are creating in an effort to help a veteran(s) transition to fulltime employment after their military service. There are too many stories in the media about the challenges some veterans face when returning so we want to try to help by providing an opportunity to learn a valuable new skill that can lead to a satisfying and rewarding career. This will likely be a temporary/paid internship position but could lead to a full time opportunity too. This is a skill or trade that is in high demand across the country form private laboratories to large hospitals. Youtube is a great tool to get a little better understanding of what histology is, here are a couple links:
Some states require college and a certificate, CA is not one of those states so we’re able to provide on the job training. There are also a couple online colleges if someone does choose to go that route.
The shift is 12:00 am to 8:30 am.
My goal is to try to give back a little by sharing a skill that can lead to a life long career and help other succeed in life.
