The Veterans Legal Services Clinic at the William H. Bowen School of Law at UA Little Rock provides client-centered and trauma-informed advocacy on behalf of Arkansas veterans who have endured service-related injuries. They help navigate the VA appeal process related to disability compensation, assist veteran survivors of trauma with requests to upgrade their discharge status, and connect veterans to attorneys and organizations for free or reduced-rate assistance. They also engage in community outreach and serve as a resource center for veterans and their families throughout Arkansas. Veterans complete an application online; note that due to high volume they are currently not accepting new applications for direct representation but offer self-help resources and pro bono referrals.
