Description

The VALOR Act Registered Apprenticeships program simplifies VA approval of multi-state Registered Apprenticeship programs with National Program Standards approved by the Department of Labor. It enables faster GI Bill benefit approval so Veterans can begin training and receiving payments sooner. It serves Veterans and eligible beneficiaries pursuing registered apprenticeships and program sponsors operating such programs. Sponsors submit applications to the State Approving Agency in their headquarters state using specific VA and DOL forms. Veterans access benefits by applying for GI Bill education benefits and enrolling in an approved apprenticeship program. Certifying officials maintain records and submit monthly certifications. The program operates nationwide. Find Val or Act Registered Apprenticeships and thousands of other veteran resources at VeteransDirectory.com.
