VA Mental Health Care provides resources, information, and treatment options for Veterans concerned about their mental health including signs, symptoms, conditions, and evidence-based treatments for healing and recovery. Services include counseling, therapy, medication, telehealth, inpatient residential care, self-guided apps and online training for conditions such as anxiety, bipolar, depression, military sexual trauma, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance use, suicide prevention, and traumatic brain injury. It serves Veterans including those transitioning, older Veterans, women Veterans, student Veterans, and their families. Veterans access care through in-person visits, telehealth, local VA hospitals, clinics, or Vet Centers; contact the Veterans Crisis Line or use the facility locator. Available nationwide.
