Shelby Erectors offers a state, federal, and VA-approved two-year paid apprenticeship program in ironworking. Apprentices receive hands-on training on infrastructure projects such as bridges alongside experienced journeymen, bi-annual pay increases, and opportunities for advancement to journeyman, foreman, and supervisory roles. The program is open to veterans, high school or college graduates, and career changers who are 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and can read, write, and speak English.
