Marketplace Specialists are the heartbeat of Unison Marketplace as members of our Sourcing, Marketplace Support, Marketplace Assurance and Buyer Support teams. From delivering training and education to customers, to conducting the critical market research that fuels marketplace competition, Marketplace Specialists drive the success of the Marketplace. This seasonal position has rolling start dates starting this Spring 2023 through July and is 40+ hours per week. Unison is looking for talented & self-motivated individuals to join the team through September 30, 2023 to support our busy season.  Candidates may have the opportunity to convert to full time permanent employees. The ideal candidate possesses entry-level equivalent experience related to customer support.  Ability to think critically and creatively and identify client needs and propose solutions is a must.

Job Type:  Seasonal, Remote, Temp to Hire


  • Managing a dashboard of Buys available for bid on the marketplace
  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers for government contracts
  • Educating customers as they use the marketplace
  • Troubleshooting user difficulties via phone and email
  • Obtaining and documenting customer feedback
  • Utilizing and creating reports via business intelligence tools
  • Building external client relationships and coordinating with internal teams


  • Experience in delivering quality customer service in a high-volume environment
  • Interest in e-commerce, procurement, government industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
