DUTIES
This position will provide professional dental hygiene services, within scope of license, for various Foundation programs and events, including conducting school-based sealant clinics utilizing portable dental equipment under an authorizing dentist and conducting oral wellness screening events. Responsible for coordination of DDOKF School-Based Sealant Network, including coordinating and training Federally Qualified Health Centers and other community partners; tracking program data; and creating reports. Responsible for conducting direct School-Based Sealant Clinics, including recruiting, supervising and training contract hygienists and clinic aides; and coordinating with school administrators. Responsible for compliance with all program procedures and state and federal laws and regulations. Will also serve as secondary Dental Care Navigator, as well as represent Delta Dental and provide oral health education at various community outreach events.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
1.Oklahoma Registered Dental Hygienist license
2.Minimum of three years of dental hygiene experience
3.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accredited dental hygiene program
4.CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
5.Oklahoma drivers’ license and good driving record

1.Must have ability to travel during the day to provide clinics.

3.An effective communication style including the ability to understand, interpret and act.
4.Ability to recognize and understand diversity and the uniqueness of people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
5.Ability to motivate and to inspire commitment, innovation and a sense of camaraderie.
6.Excellent command of English language, spelling, and grammar.
7.Experience with PC environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
8.Dependability, attention to detail, and conscientious work ethic.
