The ideal candidate will be resourceful and productive in finding solutions and cohesion in our fast-paced office environment.
This position will provide administrative support to the department, office manager and constituents. Responsibilities include scheduling, managing class calendars, reimbursements, proof reading, editing, email and phone correspondence and communication with out of office constituents. This position is critical to the advancement of our apprenticeship workforce.
High school diploma or G.E.D. Competency-based experience such as; personal accountability, organizational mission, building relationship with diverse groups, flexibility, creative problem solving/strategic thinking or 3 years of related experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize their workload. Experience proofreading and editing professional documents. Proven skills working with Microsoft Office to include schedules, record keeping, Excel formatting, professional documents formatting in Word and Adobe.
Hours and Compensation
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm, 7 ½ hour work day with a 30-minute lunch. Excellent benefit package including retirement/pension plan. Starting wage $26.78 hourly.
